   We stayed in the 1 King End of Pontoon Overwater Bungalow*, which was stunning. The romantic décor and private location at the end of the pontoon made it a dreamy retreat.

   As we had booked the highest-tier accommodation, no further upgrade was available or compensated.
2. Scenery & Views: ★★★★★
   The views were breathtaking—both the lush mountainside and the crystal-clear turquoise sea were visible from our bungalow. The white sandy beaches and pristine waters added to the paradise-like setting.
3. Dining: ★★★★★
   The food was exceptional, with highlights including: (1) A delicious BBQ buffet with a wide variety of dishes. (2) An entertaining traditional dance show during dinner. (3) The unforgettable Canoe breakfast was a unique and memorable experience.
4. Hotel Environment: ★★★★★
   The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, offering a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. It felt like a home away from home, with a peaceful and intimate vibe.

   The service was mostly outstanding, though with a few inconsistencies:
   • Before the Stay: ★★★★★
     Super responsive to emails, providing detailed information for independent travelers. Offered generous discounts on boat transfers and activities.
   • During the Stay: ★★★★☆
     Staff were friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with smiles. However, there was a mix-up with our check-out time, despite our confirmed late check-out as Ambassador guests. This highlighted some communication gaps between departments.
   • After the Stay: ★★★☆☆
     The Guest Service Center was slow to respond regarding billing and loyalty points issues. Thankfully, the concierge team stepped in, efficiently coordinating with other departments to resolve the problems. We ultimately received a corrected bill and compensatory points.

Final Thoughts

While there were minor service hiccups (particularly with billing and check-out), these seemed isolated rather than systemic. Given the exceptional value compared to other luxury overwater bungalows in Bora Bora, we would definitely return. The stunning location, superb dining, and overall relaxing atmosphere make this hotel a top choice. We hope the minor service issues will be ironed out by our next visit!
